Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use this website, create an account or donate. By doing any of these you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. In these terms “we”, “us” and “the Foundation” mean Seeya Charitable Foundation.

1. Who may use this website

You must be 18 years or older to create an account or donate. If you are younger, please ask a parent or guardian to do so for you. Please give true and current information.

2. Donations

  • A donation is a voluntary gift for the Foundation's charitable purposes. You receive no goods or services in return.
  • Donations are final and non-refundable, including donations made by mistake. Please read the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms, before you donate. You confirm this when you donate.
  • If you choose a campaign, we will use your gift for that campaign. If a campaign is fully funded or can no longer be carried out, we may use the gift for a similar charitable purpose.
  • Online payments are processed by Razorpay and are subject to its terms and your bank's. We never see your card, UPI or bank details.
  • We issue a receipt for each confirmed donation. A tax deduction under Section 80G is available only while our 80G registration is valid, only if you give your PAN, and subject to your own tax position and the law. Cash gifts above ₹2,000 are not eligible.
  • You must be entitled to use the payment method you use. We may decline or investigate a donation that looks fraudulent or unlawful.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. You can delete your account at any time from Privacy & data, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that is used to break these terms or the law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attack, overload, probe or try to bypass the security of the website, including the bot and abuse protections on our forms;
  • use automated tools (scrapers, bots or scripts) to access it, except an AI agent that one of our administrators has deliberately connected;
  • submit false, misleading, unlawful or abusive content, or someone else's personal data without their permission;
  • try to access another person's account, donations or data, or any part of the website you have not been given access to;
  • use the website to send spam or to misrepresent your connection with us.

5. Content and ownership

The website, its text, design and photographs belong to the Foundation or are used with permission, and are protected by law. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes and to support our work, but may not copy, republish or sell them without our written permission. We take particular care with photographs of children, and you must not download or reuse them.

Messages and other content you send us stay yours, but you allow us to use them to reply to you, run our programmes and keep our records.

6. Volunteering and enquiries

Sending a volunteer, CSR or contact form does not create a job, agency, partnership or any other legal relationship. Any role or partnership starts only when we agree it in writing.

7. Other websites and services

Our site may link to other websites and uses services such as Razorpay and Google sign-in. We are not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms apply.

8. No warranty

We work to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but it is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or that information on it (such as campaign progress) is complete at every moment.

9. Limit of our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Foundation is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website, or for events outside our reasonable control such as outages of the internet, your bank or a payment provider.

10. Your personal data

How we collect, use, keep and delete your personal data, and your rights over it, are set out in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version in force when you donate or sign in applies. Material changes will be flagged to account holders by email.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India with jurisdiction over our registered office (59A LIG Colony) may hear any dispute. We would always prefer to settle a concern with you directly first: please write to us.
